New to Crypto?

Four steps to go from "never touched crypto" to spending on OnlyOne. Takes about 10 minutes.

1

Get a wallet (MetaMask)

A wallet is an app that holds your crypto — it's yours, not the platform's. MetaMask is the most widely used one, free, and works as a browser extension or a phone app.

Download MetaMask

Only download it from metamask.io — fake MetaMask apps and browser extensions exist specifically to steal your funds. When you set it up, write down the 12-word "secret recovery phrase" on paper, not a screenshot, and never type it into any website. Anyone who has it can take everything in the wallet.

2

Add Robinhood Chain

OnlyOne settles on Robinhood Chain, a network your wallet doesn't know about by default. Click below to add it automatically (MetaMask will ask you to confirm).

Prefer to add it by hand?

Network name: Robinhood Chain

RPC URL: https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com

Chain ID: 4663

Currency symbol: ETH

Block explorer: https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com

3

Get USDC, bridge it over

Credits are bought with dollars on-chain. You buy USDC — a stablecoin worth one dollar — and bridge it to Robinhood Chain, where it arrives as USDG. That's the dollar stablecoin this chain uses, also worth exactly one dollar, and the bridge swaps it for you in the same transaction. You also need a little ETH for network fees.

  1. Open MetaMask and tap Buy — it lets you buy USDC or ETH with a card directly into your wallet, no separate exchange signup needed
  2. Bridge to Robinhood Chain with Across — from Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana and others. Your USDC lands as USDG
  3. Keep a little ETH for fees; the USDG is what buys credits

USDG is the Global Dollar, issued by Paxos and redeemable one-to-one for US dollars. Going the other way, USDG bridges back out as USDC on any of those same chains.

(MetaMask's Buy button uses its own on-ramp partners behind the scenes — that's between you and MetaMask, not something we run or integrate with.)

You do not need $ONLYONE to use OnlyOne. That token is a separate, optional thing — hold it to unlock token-gated creators, never a way to pay. See the token page.

4

Buy credits on OnlyOne

Head to the Credits page, connect your wallet, and pay with USDG — it becomes credits you can spend in the Marketplace and on messages to creators. (Tips and subscriptions aren’t available yet — don’t buy credits for them.) One credit is one dollar, less a 2% purchase fee, so $100 lands as 98 credits. Credits are final: they can’t be refunded or cashed back out, so buy what you plan to spend.
